Arnold’s book America’s Trail of Tears: a Story of Love and Betrayal won an Eric Hoffer 1st Runner-up Award in the Legacy category.

Arnold’s movie script The Wizard and the Lion on the dynamic relationship between authors J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings) and C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia) was endorsed by the President of the Oxford, England, C.S. Lewis Society. “Significant historical details are clearly represented,” said society president and Oxford professor, Tyler Fisher, “and yet the script remains safely in the domain of a well-crafted drama.”

Newsweek Editor and Pulitzer prize-winning author Jon Meacham said Arnold’s book Old Money, New South  “ . . . chronicles the fascinating and little-known story of a unique place and tells the story of the great families that have shaped it. It was a story well worth telling and one well worth reading.”  The book traces the billionaire families of Coca-Cola bottling and their 100-year reign over the city where Coke bottling started, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Old Money, New South: The Spirit of Chattanooga was the bestseller of all books at the Barnes & Noble in Chattanooga for several weeks, and the bestseller of all books for the year 2007 at Chattanooga’s keynote downtown bookstore, Rock Point Books.

Has served as professional ghostwriter for several projects in the areas of Biography, Christian Living, Devotionals, Business Development, and Economics & Financial Planning. Most recent project was picked up by McGraw-Hill for publication in Fall of 2011.
